Creating custom furniture out of old, reclaimed barn wood, was at first just something to play with. HUGE success and my wife said “MORE!” Hence, we are diverse and can make the wife happy.
Trying to branch out. The bases are made with 1 1/2" square tubing; wood tops are braced on the ends with 1 1/2" angle. the wood is old barn wood that has been planed and sanded. I'll get higher quality pictures in a better setting this weekend. Just wanted to get these shown and get some responses. Hope you like them. Thank you to Tyler Thompson for ordering them!
This is our personal dining room table. It started out as my wife's childhood horse barn set of doors (this is one leaf). She painted it last 30 years ago, and scraped/sanded it prior to me finishing it. It's wrapped with 1 1/2" steel angle and the legs are 4" x 2" steel I beam. Turned out great! Table size is 4'6" wide by 9'0" long.
